// software engineer & cs student
Building things that work. Optimizing things that don't. Based in Michigan.
I'm a Computer Science student and self-driven developer based in Birch Run, Michigan, currently pursuing my B.S. in CS at Western Governors University — building toward a career at the intersection of software, hardware, and emerging technology.
My interests span software development, automation, hardware engineering, and the space where all three collide. I'm not just drawn to writing code — I'm fascinated by how everything fits together at every layer, from the software running on a machine down to the circuits and components making it possible. Whether that's engineering a bot that autonomously operates inside a Web3 game, building a custom 3D-printed LED display with an ESP32, or finding ways to automate what everyone else is still doing by hand — I'm always thinking about the full picture.
I thrive on adaptability and thinking outside the box — someone who gets genuinely excited when new technology drops, digs into it fast, and figures out how to put it to work at every level. I learn quickly, ship things that work, and keep iterating until they work better.
We're at an inflection point.
AI isn't a shortcut — it's a force multiplier. My philosophy is simple: leverage AI aggressively, but own everything it produces. That means understanding every line of generated code, validating every output, and never shipping what I can't explain.
I make it a priority to stay at the bleeding edge — tracking new model releases, emerging frameworks, and shifts in the AI landscape as they happen, not months later.
The engineers who will build the most reliable, most ambitious products in the next decade aren't the ones avoiding these tools — they're the ones who've mastered setting them up, integrating them, and managing them at scale.
Speed and quality aren't in tension anymore. With the right approach to AI tooling, you get both.
Open to entry-level software engineering roles, internships, and interesting collaborations. Always happy to talk code, projects, or ideas.
